Happy Spring!!! The spring equinox was last week and Easter is on the way so we were inspired to go into the woods on a colorful photo adventure.
It's a Swedish tradition to decorate for "Påsk" by taking branches and putting them in a vase and decorate them with painted easter eggs and colorful feathers.
(You can read more about Swedish Easter traditions in English here)
We love how festive the "Påskris" look and how they really help brighten up the mood when spring in Sweden can sometimes be temperamental.
We thought it would be extra magical to make an Easter tree out in the forest and the result came out very enchanting, like an spring fairytale!
If you'd like to make your own, it's very easy if you have the materials! They are easy to come by in Sweden but anything is available online nowadays. Just search for something like "hanging Easter egg decorations" and you can even get crafty and buy the feathers and attach the wire yourself!
We hope you have a blessed Easter and spring season!
